The scenario for this project was to use stock images to design the cover of a book called "Photography: The Art of Distorting Reality" (La photographie: L'art de déformer la réalité)
For any project that uses stock images, I like to keep elements that come from different sources to a minimum. This project uses only 2 different images. The starting point was the picture of the glass and, since the title of the book is all about distorting reality, I thought it would be fitting to have something float on the liquid. I found a picture of a duck that had matching light direction, worked on making it look like it was always part of the same picture and, ta-dah, we have a tiny duck swiming in juice living its best life.
