This is one of my very first school projects. The assignment was very simple: design a poster for a festival. That's it. It could be real, it could be fake, it just had to be a festival.
After trying a few different approaches, I found the picture of the TV on a chair and decided to keep things simple. Already having a creepy vibe, I thought that going for a slasher horror film festival would be perfect! Naming the festival Slash to already suggest what it's all about without giving it all away, the black cat, the static and the ITC Benguiat font (most famously known as the Stranger Things font and being used on countless Stephen King books) all work together to entice horror lover to come watch some classic 80's slasher movies
